The Arena Alupro Stirrups feature the unique Acavallo break away system, allowing quick release of the foot where necessary. The stress-actuated locking and release mechanism located between the lower end of the outer, pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support plate/tread, which opens when triggered .A hard wearing and durable stirrup, comprised predominantly of aluminium throughout with the opening arm and tread itself being manufactured in a polymide material for improved strength. Aiming to improve rider comfort and foot release in the event of a lateral fall, the flexible polymide spring effect prevents the rigid feel that similar stirrups have, while also reducing pressure on the ankles and lower legs.
